Question of the week:
Reviews; do you write them as soon as you finish a book or not?

Question of the Week:
What would your prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?
Answer: I would prefer to read my favorite book over and over. Mediocre books tend to get boring really fast. Especially if you don't get a book that you couldn't seem to put down in between them. You start to feel burnt out. Besides, I have books that I have probably read a dozen times already... so what's another 90 more?

Question of the week:
Love stories: What are some of your favorite fictional love stories?
Answer:

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon.
I absolutely love Jamie Fraser! He was still young and enjoying life but when it came time to settle down and marry, he buckled down and really protected Claire.

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead.
I couldn't get enough of Rose and Dimitri. How could you not love two people who are the biggest kick-ass people out there?

Alpha and Omega by Patricia Briggs
I loved the connection between broken down Anna and fierce Charles. He is his fathers mercenary after all but Anna had an effect of him and managed to grab his attention.

Knight of Hearts by Suzie Quint
Mac was a hilarious goofball but when it came to Rachel he became very serious. He took everything she told him to heart and when she broke down, he stepped up and wanted to right all of the wrongs in her life.

I'd read my favorite book over and over and over!

Ooh, fun answers!! I write my review fresh, too. My first copy's on my computer, so I rant and rave and dump all the emotions out and then fix it all nice-n-purty for the blog. hahahaha My FF: Colorimetry

I can't be fair and open-minded if I write the review right away. I find I'm either on a giddy high and just end up gushing, or I'm at a bitchy low and really let the book have it. LOL

I agree!
ReplyDeleteNew Follower here :)

I wish I could write my reviews right after I read the book. You are inspiring me to get better at it!

If I have been given a book for review from an author, especially if that book is an ARC. I will review it as soon as I've had the chance to read it. Otherwise, it takes me a while to get round to it. lol
I said outlander too! Love their love ;) So very epic.
ReplyDeleteI like to read new books to find new favorites. Not a re-reader. New follower :)

Your answer to the review question...I do the same thing. Sometimes I'm not as quick to do the review and feel it isn't as thoroughly so make it a point to quickly get it down on paper.
Some great answers to some great questions! Some were pretty tough this week though, huh? I love your blog name by the way!

Hey! 18+ Follower!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't write reviews so that would be a huge No! lmao... But to be honest if I did I doubt I would write them straight away.
Once I get into a book series I need to devour every damn book before taking a breather. And by the time all the books would be finished I'd have probably forgotten what to write in a review.
Hopping through. Yay Vampire Academy! I really want to read Outlander.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
I usually write reviews right after I read too.
ReplyDeleteI love Vamp Academy!
