Friday Fun #10

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee’s View and Alison Can Read and is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers.

Question of the week:
If you could choose one supernatural being/creature to really exist, what would it be and why?

 Answer: A DRAGON of course!

I've not read many books with dragon shifters in them. I think I've actually read a total of four.

I don't know why I like dragon shifters so much but I do. I've never been one to be squeamish around reptiles. I even owned a couple of lizards when I was younger. I would take them out of their terrarium and set them on the couch with me and we'd watch TV. I've always wanted to own a 6' long iguana, name it something bad-ass and then take it with me on a leash wherever I go. So dragons aren't that far fetched with me. I've always been a little unconventional both as a kid and as an adult.
I wish I could find more PR/UF that involved dragons. If you know of some please let me know :)

18 & Over Book Blogger Follow is a weekly feature that begins on Fridays and runs through the weekend, hosted by Crystal from Reading Between the Wines. This is a Friday blog hop with the objective to find and visit other book blogs that share the same interest as you, namely books geared towards the 18 & over crowd, and make some new friends!

 Question of the week:
Are you planning on attending any book conventions this year? Are you a con newbie or and old pro?

Answer: I've never been to a convention. I never hear about them until after they happen. I have heard of the RT Convention but it's really expensive and considering airfare and all the other additional costs, I just can't afford it right now. I wish I knew of ones that happened in the Palm Spring area without having to drive into LA (shutters) or to Vegas. Heck, I've never even been to a book signing! I'm a total noob! I have no idea how to find out about conventions or book signing unless I hear about them from someone else. Yup, like I said, total noob here.

  11. Oh I picked Dragons, too. There is just something exciting about them. I have to say that I have loved all the books you picked.

I am a book convention newbie, too. Yes, I haven't been to a book signing either. Sigh. I am going to be so out of sort that I don't know what to do first, when I get to the RT convention. lol

Thanks for stopping by my page. I hope you had a great weekend.

  12. I'm with you on RT. I was looking in to next years since New Orleans should be a ton of fun but geesh, don't know if I can swing $500+, airfare/gas and hotel! I'm a noob too so you're not alone! lol And I've only been to two signings in three years. They're fun. You can always call your local book stores and see if they have anything set up for the future and even request authors. You never know. :)

    Thanks for joining the follow!
